Erika and Cameron were the type of couple that when you meet them you just gravitate towards. They not only have this exciting and fun nature about them, but the love they share is undeniable. I was referred by the photographer for this wedding, and man was I glad because Pat Cori Photography is amazing and someone I love to work with!
Although they live in North Carolina, Erika and Cameron decided to have their ceremony at a local church Erika’s family attends in Roanoke, VA and reception at nearby Hidden Valley Country Club. The ceremony held a beautiful backdrop as it was held in Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church. I have to say, I am a sucker for the photos that come from ceremonies in churches like this. The beauty never fades. As guests made their way to the cocktail hour and reception, they were welcomed onto the newly renovated clubhouse and patio of Hidden Valley Country Club. Guests were able to take in the views of the mountains and golf course, while enjoying some signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Each detail of this wedding was carefully thought out to reflect the couple’s personality. The signature drinks and the escort cards, which came held in golden dinosaurs, had the guests attention from the start. As the night progressed, the energy never died. From a fraternity serenation to Erika to the intimate private last dance, each moment held its own special memory and one surely not forgotten.
