These values shape my approach to all relationships, both personal and professional. As a wedding planner, I’m committed to supporting my clients every step of the way, offering expertise, guidance and care throughout their journey.

With 15 years of experience in the wedding industry, including working for a renowned catering company and in fine dining, I’ve developed a strong aptitude for hospitality and attention to detail. I understand the importance of clear communication, empathy, and adaptability, which help to guide my clients through the wedding planning process. My goal is to help my couples feel heard, supported, and confident while creating a seamless, unforgettable wedding day experience. After each celebration, I come home to my three (usually sleeping) kids and my husband, filled with gratitude for having created cherished memories and brought another couple’s love story to life.

Hi there! I’m Abby Marshall, a Lead Planner at One Fine Day Events! I recently graduated from Virginia Tech, with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and have nearly 7 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Event planning, especially weddings, has always been my true calling and I feel incredibly fortunate to help couples bring their wedding dreams to life. 

I’m here to lend a hand, share a laugh, & ensure your big day is everything you’ve envisioned – and more. Let’s create something unforgettable together! 

As someone who is newly engaged myself, I understand the excitement, joy, and sometimes stress that comes with planning a wedding. This unique perspective allows me to connect deeply with our couples and help make their journey as seamless and special as possible. Outside of work, I’m a proud cat mama to three adorable fur babies, and when I’m not keeping my youngest out of trouble, you’ll find me in bed reading on my Kindle or working on a puzzle with my fiance.  Whether you need a planner, a creative partner, or just a listening ear, I’m here to make your special day unforgettable.
