Hello there! My name is Chelsea and I am the proud Owner and Creative Director of One Fine Day Events. What started as a fun mother/daughter hobby has grown into a business I am proud to stand behind.

While I didn't always know that the wedding and events industry was where I would end up, fate seemed to keep pointing me in that direction. With my qualifications and experience, I am able to plan and execute my clients' events with ease and confidence, crafting a unique and unforgettable narrative that truly captures their vision and style. I am always humbled and honored to be a part of such grand events in someone’s life and I do not take it for granted.

On a more personal note, when I am not planning weddings or events, you can find me with my family. I have been married for over 10 years to the love of my life, Devin, and we have two wonderful boys together, ages 8 and 3 (yes, I am tired, haha). I am a true and proud soccer mom now so we spend many evenings and weekends on some type of field. We also have two dogs and two cats and if I could I would have them all, but I like my husband so compromise it is. When I do find some downtime you can usually catch me binge watching something on Netflix or Peacock, most of which are shows I have seen a thousand times already. I look forward to meeting you and hearing all about you and your big day!

Jaci Larrowe, an OFD Lead Planner, resides in the Roanoke region and has been involved in the wedding industry for many years. Growing up, she dreamed of an opportunity where her artistic views, methodical planning, passion for building lasting relationships, and endless energy could be widely shared.

Jaci is successfully navigating the path that led her to OFD Events where she shares her talents of displaying her ingenuity, passion of collaboration in bringing client visions to reality, continuous efforts of customer service and client satisfaction, and adapting to evolving changes and trends.

Driven by a good challenge, Jaci will leave no detail out and will have a very creative mindset because of her avid DIY-er experience which has helped her develop loads of patience. She aims to “keep the vibe alive,” and has proven she dedicates herself to assisting people with managing the difficulties of event planning, while staying on task, on schedule, and most importantly, on budget!

No matter your situation or desires, Jaci is here to piece all of your details together and make your event happen more seamlessly than imagined.

Dana Cauley, a Lead Planner with One Fine Day, currently resides in Bedford County, where she grew up and where she first met Chelsea Yeatts, the owner of One Fine Day. Dana and Chelsea became best friends in high school with similar hobbies and interests such as dance and cheerleading.

Dana started helping Chelsea with One Fine Day as her wedding day assistant in early 2020, where she quickly fell in love with the wedding industry. Helping plan and coordinate weddings was an area where Dana felt that she could truly utilize all areas of strength. Later in 2020, Dana served as a Lead Planner for the first time and that was the moment that she knew that she was in the right field. With her gregarious personality, leadership, organization skills, and finally, her semi-OCD nature (we use that jokingly), she serves as a skilled Lead Planner today with One Fine Day. Additionally, with an accounting background, she can help her couples execute the wedding of their dreams with ease and within their financial budget.

Dana prides herself on her effectiveness to run a smooth and timely wedding, despite any issues or day-of wedding woes that may occur. You will always find her with her rolling emergency toolbox, Apple Watch with timed reminders, and a walkie-talkie in her ear, maneuvering through her weddings like a sleek professional dressed in all black.

She is very excited to help you plan and execute the wedding of your dreams.

Heyo, my name is Brena and for the last 2 years I have been working as a wedding planner. What initially started out as a side gig has quickly turned into a desire to know more about the industry so I can make other’s dream weddings happen. While I myself am not married, I do enjoy seeing the enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication that comes together to create this magical day. A day that will be imprinted on the couple’s mind, and everyone else who is involved, for years to come!

When I am not busy with weddings, I am spending time with my daughter, our 2 cats and dog. The cats of course do their own thing, but my daughter, dog and I will often be found at a park or on a hiking trail. We’re avid explorers along the East coast and occasionally venturing to the Midwest, with dreams of exploring the West coast. In the moments of rest, you’ll find me with a book in hand, lost in their pages, or vehemently researching how best to nurture my plants or crafting hobbies.

To me, life is the ultimate adventure! Everyday presents new opportunities to love, learn and create everlasting memories. And in case you haven’t guessed it by now, I thrive outside the bounds of tradition. Whether it’s a themed wedding like a speakeasy soirée or a Renaissance romance, a unique color palette, a custom made decoration or favor, or even an unconventional activity, I’m all about capturing the essence of the couple.
